DeLaval is a leading producer of dairy and farming machinery with factories worldwide. Their ambition is to ensure a digital system that over time will be flexible and support DeLavals marketing and communication efforts to customers, dealers, partners and other stakeholder groups. I had the pleasure of working with DeLaval to create several innovative digital tools, including a new external website, a sales tool app, and a ”line calculator” app. These tools were designed to help DeLaval’s customers and partners make informed decisions about their farming needs by providing them with accurate and up-to-date information about DeLaval’s products and services.

I was responsible for designing a new external website for DeLaval that would serve as a platform for publishing marketing-related product information, among other materials. While my colleague was responsible for conducting research and creating wireframes, I took charge of the visual design, ensuring that the website had a clean and modern look that aligned with DeLaval's brand image. The website was designed with the needs of DeLaval's customers, dealers, partners, and other stakeholders in mind. It was intended to provide a user-friendly experience, with intuitive navigation and easy-to-find information about DeLaval's products and services. My goal was to create a website that would showcase DeLaval's commitment to innovation and excellence, while also serving as a valuable resource for their customers and partners.
Their sales team participates annually at several major fairs and therefore needed an app as sales support. The purpose of the app was enabling DeLaval's staff to easily show product content and to capture details about leads. One other important thing was to make it easy for the sales person to do a quick search to see if the person they are talking to already is an existing customer.
Design a “Line calculator” app for iOS. The purpose of the app is to help the farmers determine when the liners should be replaced. By doing a simple calculation they should get an exact date for the change and they should also be able to easily add it to their calendar.
