Apps
The applications that we were developing at Ericsson were extremely complex from a requirements perspective as they should accommodate a broad range of uses and handle large amounts of data this adds even further to the complexity. You had to learn and understand many different sales processes and business needs.
During my work process, I closely collaborated with developers, requirements specialists, and UX colleagues. To comprehend the user needs, I conducted user survey analysis, usability testing, and user interviews. Subsequently, I transformed the business requirements and user needs into high-fidelity prototypes using Adobe XD.
Throughout the project, I acquired substantial knowledge about the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) UI framework and the optimal approach for presenting a vast amount of data in an efficient manner. Due to the limited screen space, I had to prioritize the information that was relevant to the user based on their task or the item in focus, while minimizing clutter. My focus was on helping users manage the overwhelming choice of features and functions that are typical of complex applications, while still ensuring that the application remained fully capable, by reducing clutter within the interface.
